Blog Launch!

I take off tomorrow evening from JFK for Accra, Ghana, initiating my first (of hopefully many more to follow!) adventure in Africa. Excited, anxious, eager... I want to record my experiences here, to stay connected to everyone back in the States and as a consistent means to chart my own course. And now, I'm off to finish packing, and get some rest before the 11 hour and 15 minute flight across the Atlantic...
